Despite not having studied interior design, I have an unyielding passion for creating beautiful and enjoyable spaces. When my family moved to a new house in late 2021, I embarked on a mission to find practical and aesthetically pleasing products for our kitchen. This search led to the birth of Boujee Home. I realized that there was a need for a pre-built, user-friendly system to help people get organized effortlessly. No more guesswork about which labels to use for pantry organization or which jars would complement and fit perfectly in our kitchen. I set out to find the best quality and design for our jars, meticulously curating lists of pantry staples that cater not only to South Africans but also to people worldwide. The design of our labels was of utmost importance to me. They had to be clean, clear, and visually appealing, making it easy to identify items at a glance. In mid-2022, with a mix of excitement and uncertainty, I launched Boujee Home, wondering if others shared the same needs as me. To my delight, we quickly sold out and have been growing ever since.
